语法学（英语：Syntax）是語言學的一個分科，是研究语言结构规律（语法）的学科。

主、謂、賓的排序
語言的語序是其語法學的一大基礎，而主語、謂語、賓語是最常見於各語言的句子元素。85%以上的語言主要以主語開始句子，使用主謂賓或者主賓謂的語序。其他的語序可能性為謂主賓、謂賓主、賓謂主以及賓主謂（而最後三種比較罕見）。
其他分類
历史语法学 - 研究某一种语言从历史上语法结构发展演变的学科；
比较语法学 - 研究各亲属语言语法结构之间的关系，互相影响以及确定各语言之间亲属关系的学科；
描写语法学 - 研究某一种语言，在某一特定的时期，其详细的语法结构的学科。
符號學語法學 - 研究某一種記號與記號本身或者是與其他記號之間的關係。
历史语法学也从属于历史语言学，是交叉学科；比较语法学也从属于比较语言学，是交叉学科；描写语法学也从属于共时语言学，是交叉学科。
