Arabic font for ubuntu looks ugly!

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04
The Arabic font looks really ugly, it's not good for reading or user interface.
is there any alternative font to use? is it going to be better in Ubuntu 18 or they will keep it as it is?

Please let us know which font you refer to when you say the Arabic font. The fonts packages for Arabic, which Ubuntu suggests by default, arefonts-arabeyesandfonts-kacst. Are those packages installed on your system? And yes, there are alternatives, of course.

The sparse info you provide makes it hard to help you. Possibly it could be fixed with configuration. Anyway, a package which contains alternative Arabic fonts isfonts-noto-hinted.
