Switching to Ubuntu, watching streams problem

-1

I dont game on my computer at all and really got tired of windows 10 extra features and complete lack of user control. So it was a no brainer to switch to linux.

I have one issue though, I watch live streams from reddit and around the internet and i'm getting a message that this type of playback is not supported on the browser. Which is strange because I am using firefox, same as on windows 10,and didnt have those issues at all even with vanilla firefox.

I googled as much as to no avail/saturated with results I didnt want. Is there something I should be downloading? Or a resource for things I need to be doing as soon as I get Ubuntu to transition as smoothly as possible?

Thank you,
