warm and flat water

-1

I saw the expression 'warm and flat water' in the British film when someone gives another water saying 'there you go, warm and flat'.

I was told that I can use 'flat drink' to the drinks in which had gas but have lost all of gas then. What about to the water? 'flat water' means the water once had bubbles in it but now don't?

  • Title of film, please. And context please, e.g. why was the person giving someone water (to drink?) and were the characters in the film British, American, Chinese etc?
