What do you call a person who fights online trolls?

1

A troll that is online has a negative effect, comments negatively on people, is unhelpful overall—more or less a bully.

Nerd fighters fight bullies. They literally combat bullies in school.
What do you call a person who does this online? What to call a person who up votes, is helpful overall and defends against trolls?

So, would this person: upvote a flat earth post, just because they want to be nice? Post a snarky rebuttal to it? Post an educational, facts-only rebuttal to it? Jump in the comments and say “quit calling this guy a moron- he’s a person too.” Or just say, “I’m staying away from this whole mess.”?
