IoT devices using ubuntu core & mysql
I developed a software that runs inside my laptop at moment and want to move it inside its own device. I started building a prototype using Raspberry PI3 and Ubuntu core but I am kinda stuck as I think I don't actually need ubuntu core for that since at the end all I need is a LEMP stack.
I ended up installing the classic snap to be able to install all dependencies that my software needs in order to run.
But inside the classic snap I can't access mysql as it's running inside the chroot.
My first thought was to use Ubuntu core to deploy multiple devices and send automatic software updates to the devices on field.
What is the best practice here?
