Sound blaster recon3di not detected, Ubuntu 18.10

Hi I recently migrated my alienware 17 from windows10 to ubuntu 18.10, and the sound stopped working and I noticed it does not pick up my sound card in alsamixer. I have tried so many things and nothing can get the sound working?
