Ubuntu ATI Radeon driver 18.04 -> 18.10 upgrade

0

After an upgrade from 18.04 to 18.10, my ubuntu did not boot and just exited after the grub.

I pressed "e" and changed the "quiet splash" keywords to "nomodeset". The log in worked but of course with no video drivers.

How can I now fix the video drivers to be able to use the computer normally?

I have an ATI radeon 7350 video card that was using the default Mesa driver that is the default of Ubuntu. Everything was working perfectly before the update.

This is the driver version right now. But I can not use it because it does not boot without the nomodeset keyword.

OpenGL version string: 3.1 Mesa 18.2.2

Any ideas what to try?

Thanks a lot
