Android Studio preview pane

enter image description hereAndroid Studio preview pane gets frozen at loading. It just gets struck at "waiting for build to finish".....That's it, i tried a couple of ways trying to get the shit outta it,but in vain...kindly help me out, am a Newbie to Android Studio.
note: i tried Invalidate caches/Restart, it didnt serve me even.

Start the Android Studio from terminal and see if any errors occur when preview freezes.
