Loosing connection to DNS over WiFi with Centrino Wireless-N 2200 (Ubuntu 18, KDE Neon) [on hold]

0

My WiFi constantly loses the ability to talk to the DNS (is this understandable?) and it looks like it has lost connection at all. I did a journalctl --follow, but I don't fully understand the messages. There are plenty of them, so I'm trying to filter them.

By the way nm --version:

GNU nm (GNU Binutils for Ubuntu) 2.30

To me it seems like there happens an error for getting addresses from DNS, then I don't get any response anymore, disconnect it manually and try to reconnect (two manual steps), but this fails. Is anyone more familiar with the network manager, DNS and DHCP stuff and does see an identifiable error or misconiguration?

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "This is not about Ubuntu. Questions about other Linux distributions can be asked on Unix & Linux, those about Windows on Super User, those about Apple products on Ask Different and generic programming questions on Stack Overflow." – karel, DK Bose, Kulfy, Eric Carvalho, Thomas
