My linux partition/grub isn't bootable

I've tried installing ubuntu on my laptop like I've done in many other places but I can't get it to boot. The install goes ok, everything seems to do what it's supposed to do, but when the time comes to boot it just doesn't.

I thought it was a partition/dual boot issue, and eventually I just gave up and formatted the whole computer, but that just got me a "no bootable device" error. So the problem has to do with booting it up.

I've tried installing windows again, and that works, so it can't be a hardware problem; but linux Mint gives me the same problem, so I think it has to do with grub itself. I've played with boot device order on the BIOS, no result. I turned off secure booting, didn't have any effect. I tried starting up the boot repair tool and got this -> http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/SykX4DD8MQ/ and tells me everything's fine, but still no booting.

I have no idea what else to do at this point. Is there any procedure I'm missing? I have the feeling I'm missing something really basic and that I'll feel really stupid after I notice what it is, but it's driving me crazy.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
