Terminal, file explorer, and PCIe errors

-1

I tried installing the Chrome Remote Desktop application, and it didn't work. Today I tried starting Files application to do some homework and it wouldn't open. I restarted and it opened fine (but a little delayed). I have been trying to open my terminal as well via Ctrl+Alt+T and starting gnome-terminal. When I pressed Ctrl+Alt+F1 I see a bunch of PCIe errors:

PCIe Bus Error: severity=corrected, type=physical layer, id = 00e8 (Receiver ID)

I feel like I ran into a similar problem when I screwed up adding things to PATH, but that time I couldn't even login to my computer. To fix that I had to plug my hard drive into another Linux computer and navigate the files in a weird way.

I found some questions about similar errors, but not sure how useful they are: PCIe Bus error severity=Corrected, PCIe Bus Error: severity=Corrected, type=Physical Layer, id=00e5(Receiver ID), Nvidia GeForce 930M driver and PCI bus error
