I am new to ChaletOS so recently when I was messing around with some of the settings I accidentally deleted the bottom left start menu. Any help will be appreciated in restoring this!

  • ChaletOS might be based upon Ubuntu, but it is not one of the Official Ubuntu Flavors and so is off-topic here. On a side note, Distrowatch defines ChaletOS as "dormant", meaning it has not seen an update in 2 years...

  • Sorry for being off topic I'm new after all so I'm not use to the culture of these boards but if you even have an idea on what to do it will be a great help

  • ChaletOS is based on Xubuntu. So you may get help at forum.xfce.org.

The desktop environment used is xfce. This link shows how to reset the settings for the xfce desktop environment: Resetting Xfce Panels to default settings?. This thread is old, but I looked at the information and it still seems to be accurate.
