dekstop change colors after few seconds after upgrade to ubuntu 18.04

after upgrading to ubuntu 18.04 my screen colors get oversaturated. for the few seconds I can see 'normal' desktop and then it changes to sth like this (link):

have any of you met this issue? could anyone give a hint how to fix this? it's definetly not a HW issue, on Windows it works just fine
