Trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 on my surface book 2, got an odd screen error when booting into 'try ubuntu'...

0

I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04 onto my new Surface Book 2 into an alternate partition. I was able to boot into the live USB and open up 'try Ubuntu' but when my display lit up, my screen looked like this. Is there a way I can fix this so i can properly go through the ubuntu process?
