can not up-grade and computer will not boot without live cd. Also can only use try mode
My computer will only boot with a live CD. It will not let me upgrade from Ubuntu 15.10, due to not enough drive space. I cannot delete files to create more space and can only use the try mode on the live cd. After about five minutes of use in the try Ubuntu mode my computer freezes up and need to be turn off. I am not experience with computers, any help provided will be greatly appreciated and needed. I have been trying to upgrade for several months and have been forced to use library computers. Thank you for any help anyone can provide on this matter.

AskUbuntu's format of One Question/Several Answers is poorly suited to helping you untangle your multiple problems. However, our sibling site, ubuntuforums.org does that kind of hand-holding, interactive, diagnose-and-learn conversation every day.

Since you're having all these issues on an outdated release, your best bet is probably a fresh install.

I have tried to reinstall ubuntu 15.10, however the system will not let me. It states I don't have enough drive space. I can only use the try ubuntu mode. The issues have lasted for over a month. Are there any live cd I can buy that would allow me to reset this computer to factory setting and reinstall ubuntu afterwards.
