Synyonym for “in”

In a previous sentence, I used the word "in" to start off what I was going to write about. I would like to use "in" again to start off the subsequent sentence; however, it sounds strange doing so. Are there any words that could replace "in," specifically when mentioning a date (ex. "in 2015")?
Looking for synonyms online I came across "during," "in the course of," and "over," none of which I found fitting. Could you please give me some suggestions? thanks :)
