How to switch between 2 nvidia configuration in Ubuntu
My question How to use 2 displays with integrated graphics and Nvidia for cuda? has found no answer, so I want to resort to another solution.
My situation is the following : I have a MSI GE63VR 7RF Raider with a GTX 1070. I have a dual boot ubuntu 18.04/ windows 10 that's working fine.
I have installed the latest nvidia drivers and cuda. I would like to use my intel integrated for graphics for display and my nvidia for cuda. I have managed to do that, but I can't access my extra monitor(since the hdmi port is directly plugged to my 1070). Since I haven't found a solution for this, I want to create two configurations :
One where my nvidia is used for both display and cuda(So i can use my 2nd monitor to work more effectively)
One where my nvidia is used only for cuda and my intel integrated graphics is used for display(Better performances but only one screen)
I want to be able to switch between those two configurations fast and in a painless manner. Any idea on how to do that?
