Read error after install ubuntun os

i install ubuntu latest version ..after setup installation complete and i click restart then my pc boots and shows read error and nothing working but my hard drive is there and try to press key to load grub loader the shows grub loader failed .....My pc is g41m7 and hard disk is ide type 80gb and there is no option like UEFI and secure boot option in bios
