I'm trying to find a word that describes a person who is innocent, clueless, and naive (maybe somewhat foolish) due to the lack of experience.

Since this person has not felt what it feels like to be betrayed, tricked, or hurt in the world, s/he is unaware of the dangers s/he poses on him/herself.

The specific sentence I'm trying to find the word to fit into is this: "It was at this moment that Rachel rammed a hammer against the pot that contained all of our happy memories, causing the shards of our friendship to pierce my _______ heart."

I'm trying to say that my untouched/pure heart has finally been stabbed with the cruelty in the world.

Since your protagonist has never encountered the harsh realities of the adult world, you could say they are childlike. From the Oxford Living Dictionaries:

childlike

ADJECTIVE

(of an adult) having the good qualities, such as innocence, associated with a child.

‘she speaks with a childlike directness’

So your sentence would be:

...causing the shards of our friendship to pierce my childlike heart.

      I suggest a longer phrase.

...pierce my immature and inexperienced young heart.

      • immature - (adj) - "lacking the emotional maturity, sense of responsibility, etc. characteristic of an adult"

      • inexperience - (noun) - "lack of knowledge of the ways of the world"

A word that fits your application is green :

4 (of a person) inexperienced or naive.

‘a green recruit fresh from college’
