Sinceuname
is/bin/uname
, it looks like you don't have/bin
in yourPATH
. What isvncserver
'sPATH
? APATH
without/bin
is severely BROKEN! A minimalPATH
should includePATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:$PATH
