Surface Pro 4 Keyboard not working after suspend on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

I upgraded my kernel to version 4.16 with ukuu. After upgrading, the wifi works after suspend and I can resume use of my surface. However, sometimes upon resume, the keyboard does not work or light up. As well, after rebooting so I could use the keyboard again, I had no wifi and when opening network manager it said there was no wifi driver found. Any help would be awesome thank you in advance.
