The installation or removal of a software package failed. langauge setting problem

I am very new to Ubuntu and i installed Ubuntu today. And when i tried to install chromium (or anything), i am getting this error:

I searched this error and tried to fix locale but didn't work.
I would like to add one more thing that when i tried to open language settings than it is giving error
The language support is not installed completely
Some translations or writing aids available for your chosen languages are not installed yet. Do you want to install them now?
And when i tried to install it than the same error came again

You shouldn't use the latin1 locale. Run the commandsudo update-locale LANG=en_INand reboot to fix it.
