Install ubuntu 18.04.1, nothing shown in “Installation type”
I am new to Linux, but would like to start using it by installing ubuntu on my windows machine. I don't need Windows on this machine anymore, so no need to dual boot, but followed instructions for dual booting. I shrunk and deleted unnecessary partition on my disk, and made a live USB by Rufus.
Installation process goes fine until it gets to "Installation type". I guess I should see several partitions that I can install ubuntu at this moment, but nothing is shown. When I click +,-,or change, it stops responding and I need to force quit the installation.
I would really really appreciate if anyone could assist me with finding issues.
My partitions on the my disks when I check on Windows' disk manager look as follows:
disk0
・Unallocated: 13.83GB
・System Reserved: 35MB
・C: 233.59GB
・Unallocated: 217.99GB
disk1
・11.21GB (This one has no name, comes with vaio pc)
Are there any issues here?
Live USB seems working fine. I can open terminal and do some basic things.
Thank you so much in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Kenta
