I'm running my application using Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS with two monitors connected with DVI cable. When any monitor have it's cable disconnected, Ubuntu reorganize Desktop resizing what it needs and turning other monitor that left main Monitor. This is nice but interfires for some seconds in my application that is playing video due to video processing at this moment. So , i'm trying to find a way to disable this feature, or something to ignore this cable disconnected events.
Some friends told me to use the Option "UseHotplugEvents" to "false" at "Device" session of "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" to disale this events, but it dosen't make any difference.
Everytime i disconnect a monitor cable, Ubuntu desktop receives this events and reorganize Desktop anyway.
Does anyone an deia of how solve this?
Oh.. i'm using Nvidia with nvidia-driver-390 version
