get arrangements made? verb and voice confusion
I'm having a hard time parsing this dependent clause:
"If we manage to get the arrangements made,"
Is "made" functioning as an adjective, or is it a verb being used in the passive voice? I'm leaning towards its being a verb.
Also, I feel as though "get" could be replaced with "have," and in that case, it would seem like an auxiliary verb to me. Get isn't an auxiliary verb though, so what is "get" really representing here? If it were replaced with "have," would this be a clause that's in a present perfect passive tense?
If anyone can provide me with any input at all, I would appreciate it!
Thanks for your time.
