Is there a way to prevent multipath to switch to a new higher priority path (immediately)?

0

I have two available data path to a SAS drive where one path has a higher priority than the other.

35000cca25288b704 dm-108 HGST,HUH721008AL5200
size=7.3T features='0' hwhandler='0' wp=rw
|-+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=80 status=active
| - 17:0:50:0 sdtj 65:528 active ready running
-+- policy='round-robin 0' prio=70 status=enabled
- 15:0:111:0 sddf 70:208 active ready running

When the path with the highest priority fails, it is quickly faulted, removed and the other path becomes active. So far so good.

When the path comes back online however, multipath will immediately switch back to this path because it has the higher priority and that's not what I'd like it to do.

Is there a way to have multipath wait sometime before switching to this 'new', in multipath perspective, path ?

Thanks !

The failback option doesn't apply here.
