Resrtict VM to one IP address on other side of VPN
I have a bunch of Vbox VM's with different vintages of the same software on them, they need to connect to a license server.
The license server I connect to is on the other end of a VPN. I want to restrict my Windows guest OS's (XP, 7 x32&x64, 10 x64) from accessing the internet. My main OS Ubuntu 18.04 connects just fine to the VPN; but it routes all traffic through the VPN which isn't ideal but not a big issue.
At the moment I connect the VPN and set the adapter to NAT which lets me get the licenses I need to run the SW. But I would rather they only had access to the license server IP address.
Ideally the only traffic that goes through the VPN would be anything trying to connect to the license server and all other traffic would just go as if the VPN wasn't active.
