Ubuntu 18.04 winecfg not creating .wine folder

0

I've tired reinstalling both 64-bit and 32-bit versions of wine but the .wine folder never appeared on /home.

I did change the windows version of wine to see if it will create another .wine folder but I had no luck. I'm not sure if this is a common problem but all the forum posts I found recommeded me to run winecfg which didn't work for me.

Can someone give me suggestions about this problem?

  • .wine is created on ~/.wine which is equivalent to /home/$username/.wine and not on /home, is that what you meant?
