I originally lost sound, now I have lost access to system settings and cannot install a sound driver
I'm pretty new to this so please take it easy on me. I was trying to reinstall the sound driver and now I don't have access to system settings and cannot install via the terminal.
E: Package 'unity-control-center' has no installation candidate
This is the message I am getting. As well as with pulseaudio.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Copying and pasting the error message is good. Can you copy and paste the whole screen of what you typed and everything that came out?

The release of your Ubuntu may be useful. In older [supported] releases of Ubuntu, Unity was the default DEsktop and thus the package was found in the 'main' repository. In more recent releases (which have GNOME as default) it's found in 'universe' which needs to be enabled. Your release of Ubuntu dictates this, which we don't know. (packages.ubuntu.com/…)
