Ubuntu 16.04: Unable to install ia32-libs and ia32-libs-multiarch on Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits
Actually I have to install Airtel 4G LTE modem on my Ubuntu 16.04 OS. But setup comes with 32 bits only and it's not installing on Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bits) OS.
I am trying to install ia32-libs using command
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
But getting message as
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ia32-libs : Depends: ia32-libs-multiarch
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Also getting following error message while installing
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs-multiarch
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
ia32-libs-multiarch:i386 : Depends: bluez-alsa:i386 but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Can someone please help in resolving this.
