Ubuntu stopped working after using Gparted
I am using the dual boot in my laptop. I was trying to increase the size of Ubuntu partition by using Gparted tool but mistakenly I reduced the size and since then my laptop is not loading ubuntu. I am using Ubuntu 18.10
18.04 gparted startup

Did you move the head end of the Ubuntu root partition (the left border in the graphic representation)?

I advise to boot from usb/dvd first and make sure you backup any data you have on that partitions. Then if possible just reinstall Ubuntu. You could try to restore the partition to its original size and get back the old blocks but that's not easy. Especially when you cut the head of the partition.
