No Release files [duplicate]
This question already has an answer here:
What can I do if a repository/PPA I added does not have a Release file?

Cannot install some ppa apps because there are no Release files. I read man apt-secure but don't understand how to go on. Who can help me?
The (Dutch) message in the Monitor:
E: De pakketbron 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/bqopensource/opencv/ubuntu bionic Release' heeft geen Release-bestand.
N: Bijwerken van de pakketlijst uit een dergelijke pakketbron kan niet veilig gebeuren en is daarom standaard uitgezet.
N: Zie de man-pagina apt-secure(8) voor details over het aanmaken van een pakketbron en over de configuratie langs gebruikerskant.

You haven't told us your release; but your message implies 18.04 (Bionic) which isn't supported by that PPA. You should check it supports your release before adding it (along with who created & maintains it, can they be trusted, as it ceased being maintained in 2015 - I'd see that as a reason to skip it & look for another source for whatever you needed from it).

That PPA only have packages for Trusty (14.04), Utopic (14.10) and Vividv (15.04) ... not for any newer Ubuntu release.
To find out what releases a PPA supports, open the URL in a browser, click on dists and you have a list of supported releases.
