Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS leaving space at the bottom on full screen mode

0

I'm seeing a gap at the bottom of my windows in full screen mode.

This happened after running,dist upgrade.

I have tried the following:

I changed download server from ubuntu.mirror.ac.ke to main server
followed by

apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade

This hasn't resolve the issue

full screen mode showing gap
