Mask, meaning in this context?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ margin-bottom:0;
}
I'm trying to find a synonym for the term "mask" used in this context: Two men are trying to make a place safe for a blind person, and they spot a potential danger, so they say:
- Let's cover this up there.
- With a mask.
- I'll get some adhesive tape down there...
I think in this case the mask should be some kind of protective covering, but since I have to translate it to my language preferably with a single word I'd like to know what could be a synonym for this one.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but you probably should provide more context here...right now it is unclear what you are looking for.

@Cascabel: The real problem is that there's not much context about this, this is being said on a scene switch and really that's not that linked to what previously happened.

Perhaps "guard" or simply "cover" (both nouns). Or maybe the noun "shield".

The question is too general to write a single focused answer. Without more context, I'd use safeguard.
