Cannot get into the desktop
I type my password and login and it stays on my desktop wallpaper forever. I am pretty sure I type the right password because if it's wrong then it will tell me to type it again. My mouse can still move and I can get into the Virtual terminals by pressing Ctrl+Alt+F1.
Can anyone help me?

What Ubuntu version and which Desktop Environment do you use? Also sometimes I've seen something like this just happen randomly, and fixing itself with no further action after a reboot. So if you didn't do that already, try and log in through the TTY and type thereboot
command.

I type: sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386, wget -nc dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/winehq.key sudo apt-key add winehq.key, sudo apt-add-repository 'deb dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu xenial main' for download the wineHQ but it doesn't work. This is from wineHQ.org which is the official website
