Cewe Photobook crash on Ubuntu LTS 18.04.1

0

I just installed CEWE Photobook program (perl script) on my Ubuntu 18.04.1 operating system. I am able to open the program, but it crashes and shuts down after a few seconds. I tried the "sudo apt install libssl1.0-dev" trick mentioned here:
https://ddumont.wordpress.com/2018/11/05/how-to-run-cewe-photo-creator-on-debian/

....but without success:-(
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm an Ubuntu novice so the solution could be obvious without me recognizing it:-)
Thanks!

Did you run the program from the terminal? Can you see any errors there?
