getting too many open files while executing rc.local

I have an application and I want to run it in startup so I decide to use rc.local file



here is my execute command which is in rc.local



rm /opt/icc_services/icc_services_v2.1/ROOT/pid.sh
cd /opt/icc_services/icc_services_v2.1/ROOT/
./icc-service.sh start


when I start I got too many open file error from my application How ever when I start my application manually it starts normally any help would be appreciated
