Xubuntu 18.04 slow boot dmesg gaps
I'm trying to understand Xubuntu 18.04's boot time on my Dell Optiplex core i5.
Here's some output from dmesg:-
[ 7.958004] systemd-journald[293]: Received request to flush runtime journal from PID 1
[ 8.185798] Adding 2097148k swap on /swapfile. Priority:-2 extents:6 across: 2260988k FS
[ 17.856184] (NULL device *): hwmon_device_register() is deprecated. Please convert the driver to use hwmon_device_register_with_info().
[ 17.865406] shpchp: Standard Hot Plug PCI Controller Driver version: 0.4
Does anyone know where those 9 seconds went to?
