What is the Youtuber/Streamer accent?
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ margin-bottom:0;
}
I've noticed that a large number of streamers tend to have similar voices. Examples include PopularMMOs, Ninja, CourageJD and others, especially those that say things like "Smash that like button".
If I could characterize it in words I would say it's brassy, higher pitched than news-anchor accent, and maybe with some of that vocal fry that's been in the news recently.
Even British streamers that have a British accent seem to adopt elements of this voice (like Ali-A).
Is there a name for this phenomenon, and what are the likely causes for it?
