got linux mint with full encryption(lvm) on laptop with one hdd.
i want to backup my system completely,
wipe the hdd, split it up for a win7 partition and a linux(non encrypted) partition,
install win7 first, then linux mint again and then restore the previous
made backup.
i try to make a backup with timeshift, but including my homefolder also automatically includes the giant ecryptfs folder :/
is timeshift the right choice for this operation, and if so, how can i backup the whole system without the encryption stuff?
maingoal would be to boot into the very same system as i have right now,
with all software, configurations, user and personal data.
thx for your help :)
best regards theuhmu
