Dependency tree of the sentence — correct or incorrect?

SpaCy is a python-library that generates dependency-tree of a sentence; following is a tree that I find interesting..

In the tree in the above image, the VERB 'turning' is shown to be depending upon the NOUN phrase 'his traffic lights' such that the relation is 'nsub' ie the NOUN is the subject of the VERB 'turning', however that is not the case, grammatically.
I think the NOUN phrase 'his traffic lights' is not related to the VERB 'turning'; and if it was, there would be 'are' before 'turning'.
What are your thoughts on the result? Please, explain. Thanks.
