I got a Ubuntu 18.04 running as a VM in Virutalbox.

  • Guest Additions are installed

  • The VM got 4gb Ram

  • 4 CPU Cores

  • 256mb Video Ram

  • 3D Acceleration enabled

  • 2D Video Acceleration enabled

But the moment i open a second VS Code instance, it feels like I am running a PC from a century ago, i can barely type anything without up to 5s input lag.

CPU or RAM load barely reach 20-30%.
