How do I limit a user to accessing only one directory? [duplicate]

I have created a user on my Ubuntu Server 14.04 x64 via console. The user is named user1. Right now I want to give this user access only to one folder on /var/movie. What should I do? I've already installed Vsftp, but I don't know which command I need to use.
