How to say to say something is not very helpful in polite way

0

During work, if someone tries to help solving my problem, but the answer his/her provided is not very helpful. How to say it politely?

One way I can think of is that: thanks for your help! However, I could not find XXX is very helpful in my case.

I would like to know if it sounds polite enough and is there any better and native way to say it?

Thanks!
