dpkg --configure -a (any of the previously suggested solutions not working)
I am a newbee in Ubuntu and I somehow messed up. I want to remove a package and get
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
when I run
sudo dpkg --configure -a
it gets stucked and i literally tried every other solution suggested.
Anyone has any recommendations?
Thanks

Possible duplicate of E: dpkg was interrupted... run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a'

@KristopherIves it is a duplicate, what I am saying is that any solutions suggested in other duplicates did not work for me..

"The solution did not work" does not rule out a duplicate. You have not provided enough information to show us that you tried both solutions in that answer, that neither worked, and that neither provided any additional useful clues. Please edit your question to show us what you tried, and what happened when you tried it.
