In the British film 'About a boy' I saw the expression 'If only two people someone drops off the edge'. what does it mean?
He said 'Suddenly I realized, two people isnt enough. You need to back up. if only two people, someone drops off the edge.'
The context is like that he lives with mum only. And his mum tried to kill herself so he realized he needed more people to take care of themselves each other.
