Ubuntu not scaling with my Macbook Pro resolution (Virtual Box)
alright so, I downloaded Virtual Box and Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (ISO file) on my Macbook Pro 2018. I then proceeded to follow the installation of Ubuntu on the virtual machine, with only having 1/9th being used by ubuntu in full screen (I thought installing it would scale it properly). When I go in full screen, only 1/9th of the screen is covered by ubuntu ; the rest is all empty. Resizing it doesn't work either, and scale mode make it looks very clunky. Expansion pack is also installed.
How can I make it scale with my computer screen, so that I can have a real "full screen"?
Edit 1 : Found something telling me " Insert Guest Additions CD image ". I don't know what is though.
Edit 2 : I believe to have found it, but it says NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0X80004005).
Edit 3 : I know have a FATAL : No bootable medium found! system Halted. Scaling still not working. Please help me, it's been more than an hour since I've been battling against this.
Edit 4 : Going into full screen makes my screen go black, and I have to restart the machine to use it again. It seems that making the window bigger is working this time, I insterted guest additions image and it seems to have worked.
Edit 5 : alright, I know get a purple-ish screen, with nothing on it. Ubuntu shows before that for a few seconds, but then it's gone and nothing appears / seems to work.
