How to redirect output of systemd service to a file in Ubuntu 16?

0

Can someone let me know how can I redirect output from a systemd service to a file on Ubuntu 16?

I have seen this discussion and the accepted answer does not work on Ubuntu 16 as the systemd version on Ubuntu 16 is 229.

  • What is wrong with askubuntu.com/questions/932763/… or askubuntu.com/questions/909650/… Both are about 16.04 or at most 17.04 so relevant to 16.04
