Unity Web Player issues for Ubuntu 18.04? Alternitives to Pipelight?

0

I am new to linux, this is my first time using it so perhaps (hopefully) I am having an operator error, but here's my issue:

I am trying to download a windows applicable game, so I downloaded the latest version of wine and winetricks. The game seems to download and update perfectly fine, but then while loading it gives me "Data File is Corrupt: Not a Unity Web Player File." I have uninstalled and reinstalled both said game and Wine. No Help. After some reasearch with unity webplayer problems I've tried to download the webplayer alone, then Unity, still no help. I've come across other webplayer posts that state to use Pipelight/Silverlight. Lucky me seems to be using 18.04 and pipelight cannot be downloaded with that version and theres not help forever because the Pipelight Project was discontinued.

So are there any 18.04 Bionic alternatives available to Pipelight or that will help with Unity Web Player? Am I looking at the wrong thing?
